LOTS OF LAUGHTER IN ASHBY–DE–LA-ZOUCH
Funhouse Comedy Club is back at the Lyric Rooms, Ashby-de-la-Zouch on Thursday November 7th for more fun and laughter.
Topping the bill is Angela Barnes, who has appeared on TV’s ‘Live at The Apollo’, ‘Russell Howard’s Good News’ and ‘Mock the Week’; as well as a number of Radio shows, including her own series on Radio 4 last year ‘You Can’t Take It With You’. With her confident sharp delivery and skilful, hard-hitting lines she leaves the crowd laughing all the way home.
Opening the night will be the talented Addy Van Der Borgh, who studied clowning and physical theatre at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. He has acted in a number of voiceovers for radio and television as well as performing all over the world with his assortment of voices and uniquely hilarious material. A genuine intelligent clown, who audiences love.
Also appearing will be winner of ‘Last Minute Comedian of the Year’ 2017 and finalist in ‘English Comedian of Year’ 2017, the instantly likeable, confident and cheeky Clayton Jones, with his observational comedy and tales of everyday family life.
Completing the line-up is Kevin Finn a multi-talented comedian known for his high-energy performances. Born and raised in Ontario, Canada his charm attracts audiences from all over the globe through his captivating story telling.
Compere for the night will be the energetic and chatty Spiky Mike.

Curry with your comedy?
Why not save on the washing up and enjoy a home-made authentic curry before the show. We use local producers and suppliers and receive rave reviews on our chef's speciality curries. Curries are just £7.50 and are served with special steamed rice and a naan.
No need to reserve your curry just visit the stage upon arrival. Also don't forget to leave room for our gorgeous home-made traditional desserts, or grab Vanessa (not literally!), for an interval local dairy ice cream from the wonderful cows at Bluebells for just £3.00 a tub.
