Ashby Funhouse Comedy & Curry Night

LAUGHTER IN ASHBY–DE–LA-ZOUCH

Funhouse Comedy is back at the Lyric Rooms, Ashby-de-la-Zouch on Thursday June 5th for another great night of laughter.

Topping the bill is the incredibly likeable, hilarious, warm and unique Emmanuel Sonubi, who has appeared on 'Live at The Apollo' and ‘QI’. An ex-bouncer, he has many personal tales about playing pranks with his kids and his awful parenting skills.

Opening the night will be Michael Shafar one of Australia's hottest comedy stars with

numerous TV appearances in his homeland. He is now ready to take the UK comedy circuit by storm. After swapping law for comedy he then embarked on a journey to mend ties with his Jewish mother, succeeding to some extent. His hilarious personal tales leave everyone wanting for more.

Also appearing will be the incredibly funny cutlery sage Ian Crawford, with his unique safety advice.

Completing the line-up is the hilarious half Cockney, half Irish, half charmer, Jake Steers.

Compere for the night will be the amiable and animated Spiky Mike.

The curry is served with rice, naan, and onion bhaji, £9.50, and there is always a dessert option at £4.50.

Ice creams served during the first interval at £3.50.
